East Brunswick Safety

Hey. Just got this email, figured I would share. Be safe.

Advisory: **Press Release-Police looking for help in identifying suspect**

Dear Aryeh Goodman,

On July 14, 2017, at 1:49pm, residents at a Fresh Ponds Road home were approached by a male with a dark complexion wearing a badge around his neck. The male held his badge up and advised the residents that he worked for the city’s water department. The residents told the male that the water was working fine. The male then attempted to guide the residents into the backyard and started walking towards the back door of the home. One of the residents got between the male and the house and pushed him away. The male ran down the driveway towards Hardenburg Lane where a large, dark gray colored Toyota pickup truck with tinted windows stopped, picked up the male and drove off in the direction of the New Jersey Turnpike. The residents were unable to see who was driving the truck or the license plate of the vehicle.

***As a reminder, all Township Water Utility employees will be in a clearly marked Township vehicle and will always present a Township of East Brunswick identification card when asked. If you are uncertain of their identity, contact EBPD.***

We are seeking additional assistance from the public. If anyone has information regarding the suspects and suspect vehicle, please contact Detective Joseph Bauer at 732-390-6990.
